Firm Culture

Ferguson Pape Baldwin Architects encourages a balanced approach to the architecture we provide and the lives of the talented individuals who make up our design firm.  Our goal is to create a positive, energetic and fun atmosphere while providing a supportive learning environment.  Staff members participate in various seminars and professional development programs that can later be presented to their peers through technical lunches.  Quarterly design round tables are held to exchange creative ideas and lessons learned from their projects.  The backbone of our firm’s professional success comes from each of our employees bringing in fresh perspectives and innovative thoughts to our design process.

In addition to our training and professional development programs, our extended work family gathers frequently to celebrate employee birthdays, professional advancements and project milestones.  Always searching for the newest hot spots in San Diego, FPBA sponsors special outings that include family and friends in our yearly summer picnics and holiday parties.  After work activities organized by our “Fun Committee” include sporting events, team softball, bowling, happy hours, sailing, rock climbing and project tours.  Building our team unity in social events returns a natural collaboration to our office experience.
